Energy Machines is proud to announce that we have been chosen to be part of the cohort for The Clean Fight’s 2024 Food Service Accelerator program in New York.
This program, funded by NYSERDA and the U.S. Economic Development Administration, aims to decarbonize New York’s food service supply chain. As one of the seven cohort companies, chosen from a semi-finalist pool of 42 companies, Energy Machines will collaborate with industry-leading food service customers and capital partners to transition food warehousing, distribution, and retail centers to electrified heating and cooling systems focused on renewable energy, heat recovery, and the elimination of operational CO2.
Notable partners include Walmart, the world's largest retailer, and Con Edison, a major energy supplier for New York City.
Food systems are a significant driver of greenhouse gas emissions, with large-scale food storage, distribution, and grocery playing an important role. Energy Machines is extremely proud to join this initiative with The Clean Fight in accelerating New York’s transition to sustainable energy.
