Energy Machines, on behalf of Midstar AB, is transforming Grand Hotel Copenhagen into a high-performance energy machine. The hotel will be re-launched as Grand Joanne.
The historic building, built in 1892, is undergoing a complete renovation which includes the implementation of a brand new carbon-conscious integrated energy system.
Software-based integration of the two technologies ensures the hotel’s entire cooling demand is achieved by the solution and that grid-based heat consumption will be lowered by 90%.
The project will result in significant reductions in the hotel’s operating expenses and carbon footprint. Hotel guests and staff can expect a reliably clean, comfortable, and environmentally friendly indoor environment for decades to come.
